The Great Sphinx - Egypt

The Great Sphinx is located in Egypt on the Giza plateau, situated about six miles west of Cairo. This area is part of the necropolis of ancient Memphis, the seat of power for the pharaohs.The Great Sphinx is a colossal stone statue located next to the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Carved out of limestone, the Sphinx has the facial features of a man and the body of a recumbent lion; it is approximately 240 feet (73 m) long and 66 feet (20 m) high.

Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island) - Dominican Republic

Cayo Levantado is a little island in Samana Bay . The Island Cayo Levantado is also called the Bacardi Island because some palm trees look like the ones in the Bacardi advertising spots. It is a quite beautiful island with several hundred tourists coming every day.The sand is white and powdery, the turquoise waters are crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling or gentle swimming.

Mont Saint Michel Castle,France

Mont Saint-Michel (English: Mount Saint Michael) is a rocky tidal island in Normandy, France. It is located approximately one kilometer off the country’s north coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches.It was built with two huge towers designed to defend the entrance. At the time it was built, the castle served as a means of preserving the freedom of the people. Along with the castle are built many monastic buildings that have been around since the 13th century. These structures are very fine samples of Gothic architecture.Today, Mont St Michel attracts over four million visitors a year.
